BIO:
Jie Li is Lecturer at Shandong University. Jie earned his M.A. in English Language and Literature from Sichuan International Studies University, and his B.A. in English education from Qufu Normal University. His research and teaching interests are in Intercultural Communication and Universal Grammar. He has published some essays dealing with topics such as Suffix in Chinese Characters, Tense Indicators in Chinese and Translation of Movie Titles.
He has been teaching English Linguistics, English Lexicology and Formal Grammar, etc. at School of Translation Studies, Shandong University since 2005. His classes are warmly welcomed and his students described him as “their captain”.
