BIO:

Xiong Zhang is a lecturer at Shandong University and a German Chancellor Scholarship winner (Humboldt Scholar). Xiong is currently studying for a doctorate from Tongji University. He previously received a master's degree in German language and literature from Tongji University and a bachelor's degree in German language and literature from Shandong University. His interest in research and teaching is the theory and method of foreign language teaching, especially the application of modern educational technology in foreign language. He translated six books of children's literature from German into Chinese and compiled a set of basic German textbooks as editor-in-chief or deputy editor-in-chief.

Since 2005, he has been teaching German basic and professional courses in the School of Translation, Shandong University, which is widely welcomed by students.
