BIO:

Dong Wei is a lecturer at Shandong University at Weihai and an English education PhD candidate at Hanyang University in South Korea. She earned her master’s degree in English language and literature in Shandong University and her bachelor’s degree in English education in Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Her research focus are second language teaching and corpus linguistics. She has published eight academic essays in journals as a single author or co-author. She also has finished two educational reform projects of Shandong University at Weihai.

She has been teaching college English since 2003 and also teach other courses such as British Culture, Business English, International Relations English and Sight Translation. She won the first prize in the “Teaching Star” national competition in 2014, and got twice the third prize of Shandong University Young Teachers teaching competitions. She also trained altogether six students to win the first prize of National College English competition
