BIO:
Xiaoli Li is lecturer at Shandong University. She is now a Ph.D. candidate of American Literature in Shandong University. She got her M.A. in Translation from Shandong University and her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Ocean University of China. Her research and teaching interests are in American Literature and biopolitical writing. She has published some essays on journals in China such as Contemporary Foreign Literature. Her essays have dealt with topics such as biopolitical writing of American multiethnic writiers.
She has taught College English and Listening Comprehension of English at School of Translation Studies, Shandong University since 2004. Her enthusiastic and innovative ways of teaching are widely welcomed by her students.
