BIO:
Lei Wang is a lecturer at Shandong University. Lei is a Ph.D. candidate in British and American Literature at Shandong University at present, earned her M.A in translation studies from Shandong University, and her B.A in American culture from Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Her research and teaching interests are in British and American literature. She is one of the authors of A Brief History of Western Civilization. She has pusblished some essays on journals in China, which mainly deal with topics such as ethnic literature, modenism movement and English teaching strategies.
She has taught College English for non-English majors at Shandong University since 2004. The philosophy rooted in her teaching is the incorporation of theory into practice, which is widely welcomed by his students and thus earns her one of the most popular teachers on campus.
