BIO:

Gannan Xu is a lecturer at Shandong University. Gaonan is a Ph.D. candidate on Comparative Literature and World Literature in Shandong University. She earned her M.A. in English Language and Literature from Shandong University, and her B.A. in English from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Her research and teaching interests are in comparative literature and Canadian literature. She has published some essays on some domestic journals as well as foreign journals. Her essays have dealt with topics such as Literary Ethics studies, Alice Munro’s novels, Louise Edrich studies, Yiching and its philosophy.

She has taught An Integrated English Course, English Listening and Academic Writing at School of Translation Studies, Shandong University since 2003. She is widely welcomed by her students and thus earns her yearly excellent teacher on campus.
