BIO:
Ling Li is lecturer at Shandong University. Ling is a doctoral student in western culture history at Shandong University; she earned her M.A. in applied linguistics from Beijing Institute of Technology, and her B.A. in English from Shandong Agricultural University. Her research and teaching interests are in western culture history and applied linguistics. She has published several essays. Her essays have dealt with topics such as emotional history and English language teaching.
She has taught College English—the Integrated Course and Viewing, Listening and Speaking, and Advanced English at School of Translation Studies, Shandong University since 2006. The philosophy rooted in her teaching is the incorporation of theory into practice and the application of new and practical teaching methods, which is widely welcomed by her students.
