BIO:
Weishan Kong is lecturer at Shandong University. Weishan is now proceeding her PhD program in Shandong University. She earned her M.A. in Second Language Acquisition from Shandong University, and her B.A. in Applied Linguistics from Shandong University. She attended the short Course of Curriculum Innovation, Design and Development in the school of Education, University of Adelaide in 2018. Her research and teaching interests are in English teaching and Second Language Acquisition. She is the oral examiner of BEC higher/vantage. She has published some essays on some English teaching journals in China. Her essays have dealt with topics such as English teaching; lexical phrases, critical thinking, and phonics studies.
She has taught College Advanced English and Spoken and listening course at School of Translation Studies, Shandong University since 2003. She is the instructor of College students’ English competition. The philosophy rooted in her teaching is the incorporation of theory into practice, which is widely welcomed by her students and thus earns her one of the popular teachers on campus.
She received the diploma of honor of Shenzhen 26th Summer Universiade as the interpreter and secretary of Chinese women football team.
