BIO:

Xiulian Yu is an associate professor at Shandong  University. She received the third level certificate in the English Language Center of the Ministry of Public Health at Xi’an Medical University and received the Certificate of completion of the postgraduate courses of “Curriculum and Teaching Methodology” in Inner Mongolia Normal University.

Her research interests are applied linguistics and English language teaching. Her essays have been published on such famous linguistic journals in China as Foreign Language World and Journal of Xi’an International Studies University.

She has taught College English at Shandong  University since 2002.
